Starting from an investigation into the appearance of language and its collective use, the paper 20:08: Composite Writingis a written report, focusing on the presence of language in public urban spaces. Based on the daily routine of walking through the streets of Lisbon, each inscription (written or spoken) was captured through the precise time of day (hour/minute) followed by the specific inscription as it occurs in the landscape.
